We are trying to make the campus more secure. Golden Gate has installed two gates that will need to be locked when we leave the campus each day. Both gates are the same, so please follow the same directions for each.

Locations of Gates

  • At the street level

Close Gates and Arms Up

Make sure to pull your car up far enough to allow the gates to close.

  • Close the gates from both sides
  • As you close the gate, make sure that the arms (that will eventually go into the ground) are up so they don’t drag on the ground
  • Rotate the arms so they go up and down and place them in the holes in the ground
  • Once in the ground, rotate them so the hole on the arm and hole on the gate line up (we will eventually have padlocks here too

 

 

Padlock and Chain

  • Please make sure the chain goes all the way around, connecting both sides of the gate
  • Make sure the lock goes through the hole and that the lock is secured shut
