  • stay low and compact as they make the move

  2. Rip through baseline into Triple Threat swinging ball below knees and immediately driving to the hoop
  3. Take 1-2 dribbles to the hoop
  4. Retreat Dribble to Create Space and Square shoulders to defender 
  5. Attack defender by either continuing baseline or change direction to the middle of the floor looking to score

  • Go over the footwork, demonstrate how to pop hops open

  • Have two groups-- older and younger
  • When kids get knocked out, they can get back in by doing 30-pound dribbles with their off hand
  • Do 60 second segments. After 60 seconds, anyone who is out is now out and must then form the new out of bounds boundary
  • Each 60 seconds, as the group gets smaller, make the space they can dribble in smaller--surrounded by those that are out
  • Kids that are out that are forming the boundary, must dribble the entire time while trying to steal from position. They can only pivot and are not allowed to move their other foot
