TTA is excited to announce our first ever BOYS competitive league at our San Ramon location–called THE 3’s LEAGUE. Gather up your friends/teammates and form a team to compete in a 7 week, bracket style tournament that will be both competitive and fun. 3v3 is gaining popularity as it provides so many benefits:
You do NOT need a team to enter this league. You can join as a FREE AGENT and we will add you to a team
Benefits to 3v3
- All players are more involved: More touches, shots, handling the ball, passes, rebounds
- Everyone is a guard: With more spacing, each player will get a lot of dribbling and decision making reps
- Defensive Improvement: All players must guard and focus on defense.
- Moving without the ball: Players will be in constant motion–give and go’s, backdoor cuts, dribble hand offs, ball screens, dribble drive action
- Faster Game: non stop action, quick scoring, lots of ball movement
- Most Important: 3v3 is FUN
** This program is geared towards intermediate players who have done our classes before or have been playing basketball in some capacity. If your child is a TOTAL beginner, we recommend taking our classes first. **

3v3 League
Our league will be played 3v3 half court. Our goal is to not only provide a place for our TTA kids to compete, but also teach them how to play pickup basketball that will extend beyond our gym. With 3v3, players will get more touches, more opportunities to score, learn to move without the ball and so much more.
Each division will have 4 teams. Weekly, we will have a bracket style tournament that will produce points earned based on the outcomes of the games. Those points will accumulate over the entire session resulting in teams being seeded 1-4 for the Championship Day–ultimately crowning a champion for each division.
Teams
Teams must have 5 players on the roster. You can either form your own team or register as a free agent in which you will be assigned to a team.
Each Grade bracket will consist of only 4 teams, so space is extremely limited.
Highlights
- Every team will get a total of 32 minutes of game time each week
- Every week, teams will have a chance to win a bracket style tournament
- Culminates in a Final Four Tournament where one champion from each division will be crowned

Weekly Format
- One 60 minute session per week
- Each team will play 4 games per week
- All Games are 8 minutes long
- Each team will play each other one time on the main baskets in our facility in a round robin format
- The bottom two teams for the day (based on wins/losses) will play each other on the side hoop (full half court) for 3rd and 4th place
- The top two teams for the day (based on wins/losses) will play each other on the side hoop (full half court) for 1st and 2nd place
- Based on the outcome of the final games, teams will receive a certain amount of points for that week
- Each week will reset with the same format and the ability to earn points for that week
